Rain pelted down onto the broken pieces of stone and echoed in the ruins of this run down place,but among the walls and churning sea a young girl peered over a ledge.Down below she saw the chains where skeletons had been shackled,to think they we're once live people and left here to suffer a dreadful fate.

The girl was Wendy Darling,Peter and the lost boys we're out somewhere and she had snuck away to come here.This place seemed interesting to her is all,and it was a good place to practise her sword fighting skills.No doubt Tinkerbell was happy to have her away from Peter,that fairy was so jealous of girls.

Making sure no pirates we're lurking about,she stood up and headed to the top roof taking her sword out.Thrusting foreward then stepping back,she stabbed at a invisable opponent.Lightning flashed through the sky and thunder rumbled,so she quickly ran back inside.

"That was abit too close....".

Upon realizing that Wendy was nowhere in his immediate vicinity and finding this utterly intolerable, Peter left the lost boys on their own, as he often did, and went in search of the missing Wendy. First he tried her own little house, but finding that empty, he moved on to the tree house...only to find that Wendy was nowhere to be found.

Searching all of their usual haunts, Peter was already soaked by the rain, although he didn't seem to mind as he moved onto their less usual hangouts...including the mermaid's lagoon and the Black Castle. He was about to go get the boys and tell them to prepare for battle because he assumed that the only other place she could be was kidnapped by pirates, but then he caught a glimpse of her, fighting someone who wasn't there.

Getting a wicked idea, Peter smirked and flew into the castle through a different entrance, and hid himself in the shadows by where Wendy was practising. When she ran back inside, he seized the opportunity, and stealthily snuck up behind her, whispering into her ear.

"Boo."

She jumped and gave a shriek,turning around quickly she shook her head.Peter always picked the wrong times to give her a fright he did,what if she had been on the edge of a rock or something she could have fallen.

"Peter Pan don't frighten me like that,your only lucky you aren't a pirate".

She put her hand to her chest,feeling her heartbeat go a million miles per minute.She then glanced around wondering where the rest of the boys we're,then Wendy realized she forgot to mention she would be here.Giving a small "heh",she only hoped he would forgive her for not telling him she'd be here.

"You we're really worried weren't you,i'm sorry".

Peter laughed when she started shrieking, looking very smug and self-satisfied as she collected herself and turned back to scold him. He didn't even stop to think about the bad things tat might've happened, and if he had, he still would have done it...he could always catch her if she fell.

"I have to agree, pirates aren't nearly as much fun as I am, nor as clever and brave. I am quite lucky to be me."

He smirked in that trademark Peter Pan way he had, not at all abashed by his boasting. His expression went a bit darker at her apology and he was reminded why he was here in the first place; her disappearance. "I wasn't worried!" He replied quickly, frowning, and turned away. Peter Pan didn't do such girly things as 'worrying'. "I was only..." he considered for a moment, turning back towards her with a look of puzzlement on his face, "...curious." He shrugged, his boyish grin returning, he reached for her hand.

"And now I know. Come on, let's go."

"Your sure your not mad,I promise to tell where I go next time".

She rolled her eyes at his comment of being clever and brave,he always was spouting nonsense like that.Wendy had gotten use to it by now,there was still the matter of Tinkerbell though.That little pixie hated her with a passion,even tryed to kill her.

"Pirates are not fun,but everyday is a adventure right".

She gave a smile and took his hand,Wendy wasn't happy about him scaring her but she always knew he'd be there to catch her if she fell.
